Law Enforcement Training

This unique class focuses less on the tactics of responding officers and more on the decisions made by responding officers.  There have been numerous examples in recent Active Shooter Incidents where officers' decisions on scene had a direct impact on a positive or negative incident resolution.  In this class we will outline the best practices and lessons learned when responding to Active Shooter Incidents.

This is a classroom based training.  No special equipment required.  

This class brings a new mastering the basics energy to traumatic injury care.  We focus on the basics of how to stop bleeding and other basic interventions possible to help get yourself, fellow officer, or victim to a higher level of care.  This is a hands on class with multiple drills and scenarios.

Students will use a training IFAK during the course and go home with an operational IFAK following the course.  This IFAK is included in the registration cost.

Have you ever sat in a training on dealing with people in crisis and thought, "That does not work in real life?".  If the answer is yes, then this is a class for you.  Here we look at the basics of dealing with people in crisis and tried and true strategies to attempt de-escalation without risking officer safety.  

This class will go beyond establishing a perimeter and explore managing a critical incident, de-escalation, tips to progress the call and legal factors.  This course will also explore disengagement best practices when the incident circumstances require.
